First of all, please be aware that this is not a stand-alone device. It is an optional accessory to a specific product. This thing is awesome! It clamps on to one of the rails of the computer desk, left or right, up or down. Wherever you want it and whatever angle you want it. It has plenty of room for your mouse and has a wrist rest. I love mine. It's a godsend for me. With the computer desk and this mouse pad, I sit comfortably in my Lazy-Boy recliner while using my computer. However, there is something you need to be aware of. Don't clamp it too tightly or you'll break it. The mouse pad has threaded inserts on the left and right for attachment to the left or right side of the computer. There is not much plastic around the threaded insert. If you tighten the knob too tight, the mouse pad will break. I am a retired engineer and I would have designed it differently. I saw a bad review and I think that's what happened to the reviewer. He said that the mouse pad was loose and would not stay put. Over-tightening the clamp would cause that. Do not tighten the clamp past the point where everything is secure.
