To clarify unit is 2GB + 16GB double DIN marked HD7088 on lower right 7" screen with Android 11, just as shown, under $90.My only interaction with the seller was relative to a question I asked. I received a response quickly but my question was not answered, no answer at all would been just as useless.I concur about installation instructions, I urge other buyers print most of the info from the Amazon listing as that's about it. I also suggest installing the camera later or at least connect it to determine which side is up beforehand. I was surprised the GPS antenna performed adequately for me being buried inside the dash even while in the garage; so through 2 layers of plastic and a windshield or roof of steel with headliner in the truck plus normal garage building materials including 2 layers of aluminum foil from cellular insulation board, 4" minimum of fiberglass insulation, plywood sheathing, tar paper, and 30 year architectural shingles. My installation was far from typical, custom all the way. The original radio head in my 93 GMC K2500 was not double DIN size being 3-1/2 x 5-3/4 inches. So the double DIN was 1/2 taller and 1-1/4 wider, so considerable space needed to be created. But this is where I wanted it, where it can actually be seen and used. The typical retrofit for these trucks is a replacement center dash piece kit that holds a single DIN unit, making it a stretch to reach it and reading it nearly impossible since it is so small and not close by. The old radio space is then replaced with a plastic storage box as part of the "kit." I bought the kit too to turn the center dash area that held a casette player into a single DIN slot and bought a plastic box to fit a single DIN opening. Besides, the kit also includes a FM antenna adapter I needed and a wiring harness adapter that made that portion a little easier. I do not recommend anyone else attempt this installation in these vehicles unless you have significant skills and tools to cut, grind, sand and fabricate all the parts to pull it off. This is not a matter of replacing radios! I offer the photos so you can see how this could work and should be possible with other double DIN units of similar size; size matters! Included was a before photo showing the original radio head, an added GPS unit in front of the original dash center piece housing a cassette player and small storage cubby.A quick explanation about the photos, hopefully shown in the order I loaded them. Sorry about quality, they were taken with a silly phone camera, I was not going to get my real camera for these as they will probably get compressed beyond recognition anyway. 1. Photo of original radio as previously described. 2. New radio installed from about the same camera perspective. 3. Shows the 10 band graphic equalizer that works on radio or BT music disputing another review. 4. Shows a system information page in settings showing the CPU, memory and Android 11 OS, disputing another review about the OS. 5. Shows the buttons on the side illuminated when the lights are turned on, works as it should. 6. Shows split screen operation, radio and GPS.I just finished the install and will report any updates to its performance. I can report that it all seems to work as expected so far. The backup camera is reversed that is unlike others I have, one aftermarket and one factory. It is like looking in the mirror instead of looking backwards, not that big of a deal but could be confusing. I was pleased the video wire for the camera was long enough for my truck, an 8 foot bed, standard cab, ran along the frame and through the firewall with a little to spare. This Android head unit is a good value but understand its limitations and quirks. As other reviews have already made good points I will just add my own observations.First, even if you don't plan on hooking up the back up / rear view camera you still need to plug in the cable for it. Its the short wire with the yellow RCA plug. There are also 2 small, short wires sticking out of it and those are the wi-fi and Bluetooth antennas. Without that cable connected you won't have useable wi-fi or Bluetooth. The Bad:It uses an old 4-core processor so it can be a bit sluggish. The advertised version of Android 11 is fake. It is running Android 8.1 as reported by a system info app that digs into the actual system rather than just reporting the easily edited internal build.prop file. This is maybe a good thing as the hardware would probably have trouble running Android 11.The Good:I bought the 2GB/32GB model and the advertised RAM of 2GB and 32GB storage are true numbers, again as reported by a system info app.Overall it is a good head unit given its limitations and worth the money paid. If you want and need more or better then it will cost you much more to get it.Bought to upgrade my out of date stereo in my 99 jeep wrangler. Changed out the old dash to a double din and ordered this. I had to trim out the new dash to get it to fit right but not sure if it was because the stereo is too big or of the dash was too small.Positives*Screen resolution is pretty good. I can see very well with no top and wearing polarized sunglasses. It has a Google play store and apps are easily downloaded. When you sign into Google photos, you can download your favorite pic and set it as the wallpaper. (Only on the app screen, the main screen it has 2 wallpapers that it can only change to)The GPS works great once you download the offline map which is slow to download but works perfectly and even gives you your speed with speed alert if you go over the limit. Speed is calculated in either MPH or KPH. Youtube works pretty good if you have Hotspot on your phone. You can also split the screen to show GPS as well as your music selection.Has a built in adjustable EQ which is pretty nice. Also has a single rca sub output. And one set of rca outputs for amp.Overall very satisfied with purchase.Negatives*There is basically no instructions. Either have to ask for them or just go off the labels in which half of them aren't.The icons to change volume or to exit out of a menu or to change apps are incredibly small and hard to hit the first time. The software is android 11 but when I mirror my screen (you have to use Hotspot in order to mirror) it won't show video, only the words and sounds but once again there is no instructions so I might be doing something wrong. One set of preamp outputs and one sub output. When running multiple amps, you'll have to get some adapters to split the rcas.Download speeds are pretty slow. Even with 80mb's speed router the stereo will still download in kb's.Saw someone say they couldn't get the side buttons to illuminate. This is because they didn't hookup the illumination wire to their headlight switch. Do yourself a favor and wire it in with your remote wire that way it'll come on automatic with your key in the on position and be done with it.Overall I'm satisfied with the radio. The new ones appear to be updated with the Android 11 software and will read in MPH as others have stated it does not. Would recommend for the money you're spending.
