I use the keyboard as my daily driver for programming, more than gaming.Pros:The keyboard has no flex, the keys have a nice travel and a tactile bump (as expected with mx blue switches) - The key caps have slightly concave surface and the keys are comfortably spaced. I can type quickly and with few errors.I have had problems in the past with RSI, which is why I was advised to switch to a mechanical keyboard, and I can report that the RSI problems (which required braces on both wrists) has completely disappeared since switching. The keyboard is well illuminated, with the light coming through the key caps. The brightness is adjustable, as is the illumination mode.Other functions have been added to the remaining keys, allowing control of volume & media playback.Cons:It is loud, as you would expect from a mechanical keyboard, which may be a problem in an open plan office environment, but I am using this while working from home, so no issues. For the price, it might have been nice to have had a USB plug rather than a permanently integrated cable - and the integrated cable isn't braided, it's just a regular dark grey cable. It would also have been good for there to have been a USB pass through, for easy access for USB sticks or simply a mouse. The illumination is a single color, and there are no macros or any programmable features.Doesn't come with any manual or special drivers.I have been stung in the past when buying a "lighted" keyboard, only to find that the lights just send glare up into one's eyes and the keys do not show any light themselves. But this is a lighted keyboard where the key label is lighted so one can see what one is typing even in poor lighting. The tactile feedback is good. What more can one want?I have used this keyboard every day for hours at a time for well over a year now. It still looks and functions like new. Zero issues with lighting, key wear, no cord damage. The only issue, and I wouldn't even call it an issue, is every so slight smoothing of the space bar key where my thumb presses it all the time. The keys make the "clacking" noise which is to be expected with these switches. The noise may bother some, but I enjoy the tactile feedback and sound of the keys.100% would buy again.I was looking for a keyboard that was reactive, taking me back to older models in feel (and sound) while maintaining modern application. This keyboard did not disappoint. It was easily installed via USB, provides tilt, and is illuminated. Highly recommend!I have now been using this keyboard for a little over 1 week. So far so good.My previous keyboard was a HyperX Alloy Elite with blue switches so this keyboard is a bit of a downgrade. Even though this is a full-size keyboard. it takes up less space on my desk compared to my old one which is a plus. The TTC browns have been a pleasure to use although I did have to get used to them as I was coming from a Cherry MX Blue switch. The keys have a high actuation point so there is a faster responsiveness than what I had previously. The keys also feel much lighter. When I first received the keyboard, I had to double-check the packaging to make sure I didn't get send a red switch because at first it was very difficult to feel the tactile feedback. However, after typing on the keyboard for a while I can feel it just fine.Overall pros and cons:Pros:1. Compact but full-size2. No fancy bells and whistles3. Backlighting is fantastic4. Very sturdy with quality construction and materials5. Keys are lightweight with a nice feel to them. Reminds me of the Dell keyboards so many of us used back around 2000-2010 era. The design itself is reminicent.Cons:1. Wish it came with a wrist wrest - I can't be too upset given the price point but I will definitely need a wrist wrest sooner than later2. This keyboard might be better for gaming than typing (it is marketed as a gaming keyboard) but for those of you who are strictly typists and not doing any gaming, you might look for a slightly heavier brown switch or look towards to TTC Blue switch model.3. Even though these are TTC Browns there is still a small, subtle, audible click while typing which I find to be fantastic. To me personally, it's a great balance that I wasn't expecting. Just forwarning.4. The keyboard doesn't have an onboard memory. If you take the keyboard from one computer to the next, it will not remember the lighting settings. It is rather easy to change the lighting, as all you need to do is hold FN & select F12. Takes about 5 seconds.Got this to use at work, great so far, had it for about a year now and no issues. There are better options, but if you need something for work, this will doComing from a lifetime of membrane keyboards, this is a massive improvement. The noise is just enough but not overwhelming, though I am sure I will have to get better with the mute button on conference calls when taking notes during discussions. The responsiveness of the keys has increase my words per minute (I think) due to the haptic feedback of the keys, and audible click as compared to the prior keyboard I was using. The only reason I have 4 stars for ergonomics is because it is a keyboard with precisely zero frills. That said, it is exactly what I wanted so just know there are no pads, the keys are all aligned straight, and there is nothing that will make is anything more than a keyboard can be in that respect. There is absolutely no wasted space on the keybaoard itself. I need the number pad for work so I was looking for something smaller in total size and this delivers that nicely as compared to the prior keyboard. That said, although it is smaller, it actually weighs more than the prior board. This is a good thing as it does not "run away" for the combination of weight and sticky pads on the bottom. To keep the above in mind, this is my first mechanical board, so I am sure I am just reflecting the "newness" of the experience, but this dose seem to be a well made board, and I am very happy with the purchase.I got tired of using my cheap factory keyboard. This Logitech mechanical keyboard has backlit keys (White light). It looks elegant and professional. More important, it is a joy to type on and so my typing speed/accuracy has improved.Minor thing but I also like that it is not labeled as a "Gaming Keyboard". So there are no programable keys. It is just a nice, tidy keyboard.Installation was plug and use.The Cherry Brown are realitively quiet. You hear the key press for sure but not the loud click that the Blue switches have.I hope this helps someone. If you are looking for mainly a typing KB, and you are a touch typing person, go with the RED (not Cherry MX). Logitech RED swtich is excellent, quiter than brown, less force to actuate the key, Linear with no bump. I didn't try Cherry MX but from reviews, I realized that people who tend to lean thier hands on KB (like programmer, etc...) accidently register keypresses unintentionally. I tried Brown KB for 2 weeks and its Amazing, but not for me! as its clicky with bump (less than blue for sure) and more noisy. once changed to RED switch, my typing speed increased by 10 WPM immediatley.Other aspects of Keyboard is excellent when it comes to style (very elegant, no RGB only white LED).Only problem is: you need a wrist pad (its a must) as the keyboard is high. It's been a long time I used mechanical keyboard, especially because of the price and that I don't want a loud clicky RGB keyboard, for office/programming...The brown switches are good, you can fell the tactile. Also even if you do not bottom out the key, it is still a little bit noisy when the keycaps return to the up position. To dampen sound of the keyboard, a large mouse pad and laying the keyboard flat (without the legs) helps a lot. I also changed the keycap and added thick silicone transparent o-rings.Overall for $79 it is a nice keyboard, looks solid, no bezel, no RGB, "stealthy"/professional look. The LED is bright too.EDIT1: after 2 weeks, a LED burnt under a key, I made an exchange with amazon, I hope the replacement will be ok...EDIT2: 2 LED burnt after 5 months. I had to warrantied the keyboatd to Logitech...EDIT3: another LED burnt after 5 months again... again I need to warranty the keyboard...If you’re looking for a relatively low cost mechanical keyboard with Cherry MX switches and some basic backlight, then this one is ok. I Ended up returning this keyboard because it was not a good fit for me (I wanted it primarily for typing). Aluminum base looks great. I was not sure which switch to get would have liked if cherry Mx brown was offered, ended up getting cherry red (didn’t want blue due to noise, and didn’t want to order the clone brown switches offered). Linear switches seem not great for typing in my opinion. Found that due to key bottom this keyboard was still quite loud. Full key height, no wrist support made my typing slower and less accurate. Other keyboard to consider (Razer oranara v2) - mecha membrane better Lights, more tactility, wrist support, mid height keys. Mx Keys, looks good, low profile, membrane switches. Steel series Apex 5. Ducky One 2 (with MX Cherry Brown).I had a Hyperx Cherry Blue keyboard that was way too loud for the people in my house. So I bought the Cherry Red version of this. When researching this product, the review videos I found were mostly not in English. But it's a Logitech product, and its well-priced, so i gave it a shot. After receiving this product, I plugged it in, and was at first not used to the lack of "click-clack". I feared that I didn't receive the right product, or for some reason this one was a dud, because the response felt much closer to a cheap office keyboard, and it sounded closer to one too.But after a couple days, I fell in love. It's much quieter than Cherry Blue, and even though the response is softer, typing still feels light and bouncy. I haven't seriously wrote anything for a while, so writing this review is actually the real test. Every key is a little further to reach than I thought. Maybe it just takes time to get used to.I saw someone complain about the font they use to label the keys. I am fine with the funny looking font, Logitech is trying to do something different. The only thing I'm not fully satisfied with is the weakness of the backlight. The light is in white, which compliments the grey keyboard well, but the lights arent bright enough to justify using any lighting pattern other than "always on." My red backlit black hyper-x is much more visually stunning in this regard, but really, it looks good, and the backlit does the job. It looks stylish and nice. The base I believe is plastic, which makes the body much lighter than my aluminum hyperx which feels like a weapon. So, for $100? For someone new or interested in mechanical keyboards that live with family? Get this.
