Here's what you need to know: this product is for people who experience point pressure in their wrist while using their mouse. It essentially distributes that pressure across the lower portion of your palm. Because it moves with you, it's great if your purpose of use is for work/casual use, but may be a hinderance if you are gaming and require quick movements. The material is smooth, but its solid (aka its not gel like). I have a relatively wide palm, and this fit well for me. I can see how this may not work so well for people who have smaller hands/palms. I highly recommend this especially if you feel like your mouse is too small for your hands. It sort of positions your hand in a way that feels organic without creating point pressure.
